ULT Downward Dog Exercise

Begin in a tabletop position with hands directly underneath shoulders and knees underneath hips. Next, lift your knees off the ground, pushing back and reaching for the sky with your bum, keeping your knees bent as your head falls between your arms (ears and biceps together). Now, with your bum pressed high to the sky (and with a nice, long spine), gently straighten out your legs, reaching with your heels into the ground. It’s okay if your legs don’t straighten much, just keep your hips high and reach your heels in the opposite direction, creating as much length and space as possible. Hold here, breathing normally.
