Sit down on the bench and place your back flat against the back of the bench.
Place hands on handles that are positioned in the first few holes. Arms should be at the sides to slightly ahead of sides (not behind). Begin by squeezing your chest and bring your arms together so that they meet together out in front of your chest. Return back to starting position.
