Using a space of wall/counter for balance, take 2 steps forward…1, 2 then stop and stick on 3 in a single leg stance. Land “softly” by absorbing through hip, knee and ankle. As confidence and competence improve progress by trying to step with more speed creating a more forceful “braking” mechanism in the body during the stop.
