From a Downward dog position, walk your hands back until you are in a forward fold. Hinge at your hips and bend you knees so that you feel relief in your spine. You should feel it lengthening and like no muscles in your back are engaged or holding you–Your hips and legs are fully supporting you. Shift your hinge to feel relief at different sections of your spine. Let your arms fall forward and grab onto opposite elbows if your hands are touching the ground. Gently swirl your arms like egg beaters, loosening your shoulder. Slowly roll up one notch of your spine at a time until you are standing.
